This agency gave us catastrophically poor service and demonstrated lack of coordination, expertise or care. For example during the viewing one of the agents just strolled into our house without ringing the doorbell, or knocking. When I confronted her she responded she only was asked to show the property and didn’t know anyone would be in (which in her mind shockingly granted her the right to use they keys without knocking or ringing). The fact that makes it even worse we didn’t realise they held keys to our property. Another shocking incident was when one of the potential tenants turned up without a mask in August 2020 and the letting agent declared that because the visitor doesn’t have symptoms that makes it fine for him to be without a face covering while her and me should keep our masks on. I ended up giving him my own mask. Now that I am writing this I really think I should have turned this viewing down, as disrespect I felt at that moment and lack of professionalism and care on behalf of the agency was just outrageous. Finally when moving out I specifically called the leading agent and asked whether the tenants would be interested in purchasing any of our furniture just as we did when we moved in (given the flat came unfurnished) to which the agent replied straight immediately without checking with the tenants she was certain these tenants wouldn’t want any of our furniture. All this was said only to get a call from the same agent the following week asking whether we would be interested to sell that same furniture to the new tenants. I am furious, it is astonishing to think estate agents can be this bad.
