Lovely staff and great place to have a coffee and a tasty bite to eat after a walk on the Heath. Coffee best in the area !

We had a nice drink here & cake with our kids - the staff accommodated us on two tables (COVID rules). Drinks were nice and cake was tasty - overall would recommend. Good place to refuel before or after adventures on Hampstead Heath

Good food and drink. However they avoid following most covid guidelines. Staff were wearing tiny visors that barely covered their mouths. 50% of people didn't wear a mask at the counter. At least 4 tables while I was there were made up of people from different households - it's not hard to work out when you can hear them loudly talking about it. There was plenty of free seating outside so the staff should have directed these people outside.

I really like having the coffee for takeaway at Kalendar and then strolling straight to the park. Never sat in but looks like a perfect place to get some work done or just chill and have a breakfast. One star out for the staff not following the Covid guidelines (every time I walk in nobody wears face covering, I didn’t see anyone sanitising their hands before changing tasks). If that improves the next time I’m in, it’s 5 stars from me!

I used to like it here, but they will not insist on masks or social distancing so it’s not a safe place. The last two times I have been in, there have been numerous customers without masks standing around the counter, where they breathe freely over the unprotected croissants and pastries. I’m afraid they don’t appear at all concerned for the safety of their staff or customers. Sadly, this is one to avoid.

Excellent pit stop to liven up your walk in Hampstead Heath. Unpretentious, friendly and great value. The best thing about it is the people who work there: always kind, funny and mischievous. Always a pleasure to drop by.

The 50% discount is amazing! Especially in a place like Kalender were all food is high quality. I recommend this to every because they have loads of different types of food like: Pancakes, English breakfast, an array of amazing salads and many more. This is a great place and if you don't like the look of it I urge you to try and you'll see what I mean
