Do not buy helium balloons here! 1 hour after buying my daughter's balloon it deflated, I went back as her birthday was the next day and the staff implied I had stored it incorrectly. An unprofessional woman who was not wearing a face covering standing less than 1m away from me was very rude even though her colleague had agreed to re fill the balloon. I left with no confidence in it staying inflated over night so I went to the Morrisons party counter and bought two beautiful massive balloons, over 5 times the size, well filled with proper weights and ribbons for just 1 more than what I paid in Kool cakes. Of course this morning the balloon has indeed deflated, I'm so glad I got the other two. I will be going into the store today to complain and I hope all the staff are being responsible in their safety measures while Covid cases continue to rise rapidly. As for the cakes, I used to buy from here but with so many amazing quality home bakers in the locality at much better value, it's a no brainer really.

Brilliant!! After reading some reviews I was unsure about booking a cake from Kool Cakes for our pre-wedding event (Dholki). We we're looking for a novelty cake. A particular design for a Dholki which many instagram bakers charge a ridiculous amount of money for. Kool Cakes had made similar designs in the past (which I saw on their website) but not the design we wanted. We popped over to their Kingsbury store where a very kind, patient and friendly member of staff served us. We showed him the design we were after and he went on to the computer and printed the design on paper for us. We made notes on the paper detailing exactly how we wanted it. He made recommendations and explained what would work or wouldn't work, and what he believes his company could flawlessly create. We paid a deposit on the day and a few days later I went to collect the cake. It was ready at the time we agreed and wow what an amazing looking cake. It looked exactly how we designed it!! The service was brilliant and they even made a pillar around the box so the lid doesn't damage the cake. They advised me on the best way to transport and store the cake. Everyone was happy, so happy that I've left this review before even eating the cake lol The cake smells gorgeous. Great work Kool Cakes. We will definitely see you again. The cake is a of a Dholl (indian/asian drum)!
If there was an option for 0 stars I would definitely rate Kingsbury Kool cakes . Unfortunately, there isn't any option for that. I'm very disappointed that I did not get the cake I ordered. I ordered an 8 inch drip cake but received a 6 inch cake. Furthermore, I requested a pink drip cake ,however, I received a light orange cake, the manager saidtsaid they tried 5 times but couldn't get the colour right.This is oitrageous. I feel this is daylight robbery. I only got 5 off from the total price 55. I was charged a very high price for a 6 inch drip cake. I think your staff definitely need training in listening skills and baking. Knowledge of mixing colours. This is the first and last time I will buy a cake from Kool cakes Kingsbury. You'll not as cool as you think you are!
