This is quite a fancy restaurant in the heart of Soho. Expect lovely rooms with very classic decorations in an fairly old but beautiful house. The food is super tasty with obvious French favourites, served by the very nice french staff. People in here can be sometimes a bit stiff, but the experience is still well worth if you're happy to splash the cash. Give a try to their lobster and beef tartar if you're into these things :-)

As with many people during 2020, we had to make some changes to our wedding plans and decided to have a much smaller occasion with just our nearest and dearest. After weeks of emailing lots of London restaurants, we were recommend L’Escargot! It was the best decision we could have made!! We had the most wonderful wedding reception and could not have asked for more, on our special day. From the start Aurélie was absolutely amazing, and helped us create a wonderful menu and wine selection for our guests, and took care of everything leading up to the day. Even creating our own menus and organising table flowers that matched the flowers on our wedding cake. She had thought about every little detail to ensure the afternoon and evening ran smoothly. On the day we had a wonderful team looking after us, who ensured we wanted for nothing and the food was some of the best food we have eaten. So much so, one of our guests has actually been back since with work colleagues to experience it again! For anyone looking to get married in London, L’Escargot is a must! The setting is beautiful, the food outstanding and the team all absolutely amazing! They really did make our wedding, and we are so grateful we were able to have our wedding here! Thank you to everyone who made our day so special and especially Aurélie!
Decor was extremely nice and pleasant. Service was great. Had high expectations of the food. The starters were great but for some reason the mains were very salty. Thought it might have just been my duck dish but this was the same for 2 x risotto dish & another duck dish. Have had french cuisine at other restaurants and they were definitely not so salty.
Amazing food and customer service. I know I can be really awkward as I like to try stuff I haven't before. I failed to ask what was in one meal when it came I couldn't eat it due to one of the ingredients. but they didnt bat an eyelid just changed my food and even apologised to me, it was my mistake but what an amazing bunch of people.
Great tasting food and impeccable service. We went for my daughter's birthday and she had a wonderful time. Staff were so amazing, skilled and professional. Can't wait to visit again. We loved the venue, decor and ambiance.
