I sought treatment at London Vision clinic in August 2020 as I had a particularly negative experience when seeking treatment at a high street optician, who also offer laser eye treatment. I had a 'high profile' prescription (5 with strong astigmatism) meaning many clinics just did not have the expertise to treat me. London Vision clinic are specialists in their field and provided second to none treatment and service. I did ALOT of research prior to this as vision is so important, and I wanted only the best. From the initial consultation to treatment, the whole experience was excellent. All questions were answered and risks explained fully, especially as my treatment was not as straight forward. Surgery is a scary prospect, but at each stage I was made to feel at ease; the surgeons and staff go above and beyond! My surgeon even checked in on me via text a few times (I had Glenn Carp) to check all was well. My aftercare, despite being in the middle of a pandemic, has been super and my vision is very good. I have a slight residual prescription now at 6 months on, which was to be expected and I am still pursuing achieving the best vision results through my aftercare. I have worn glasses since i was 6 and am now 80% glasses free, whereas I could not function without my glasses at all before! I am so grateful to the team here and I would highly recommend London Vision clinic every time.

Deciding to have laser eye surgery was the best decision I’ve made. After a lot of research and some recommendations I picked the London vision clinic. From my first to my last appointment they were nothing but friendly and helpful. On the day of my surgery they made me feel so comfortable and I wasn’t nervous at all. The after care I received was excellent. As my eyes could become a bit dry they would send me more eye drops if I ran out which was great service. Just over a year on my eye sight is amazing with 20/16 vision. I would highly recommend the London vision clinic to anyone who’s looking to get laser eye surgery. You won’t regret it.

Outstanding team and procedure I had the SMILE procedure in the summer (2020) with Mr Glenn Carp and could not recommend the London Vision Clinic highly enough for those considering having corrective eye surgery. From the first phone call through to the consultation appointments and the procedure itself, the level of care was outstanding. I was made to feel completely at ease by the highly capable, professional and friendly team (despite initially being nervous about undergoing the procedure). The aftercare is also fantastic and I feel confident that if I had any concerns with my eyes the Clinic would be on hand to help. The procedure itself is life-changing - the results are simply incredible. I am so grateful to Glenn and the whole team! Thank you so much!

Unreliable. They waited till the day before my surgery was booked for to tell me that i am unable to give informed consent for the surgery to go ahead. The reason being that, they had failed to tell me about an alternative surgery which they felt may be a better option. I had been to the clinic before that day and interacted with the clinic on many occasions before yet they left it to the day before I was supposed to have surgery. Why would they have not made me aware of my options in advance I do not understand. To put it simply they made a mistake, that mistake cost me financially because I took time off work, made the trip to London, paid for a hotel and mentally prepared myself to undergo major surgery. I had decided to go ahead with the surgery the next day as this is what I came to London to do. However, they refused and said because I was only told about the alternative option less than 24 hours ago they cannot perform the surgery. This was not my fault and I should not have had to take on the costs of their mistake. They told me to rebook for another date in the future and go through the entire process all over again. When I told them I was unhappy, they said they can not treat me any longer as a patient at their clinic and they did not even pay me back for the travel expenses and wasted costs. Instead they ignored the fact that I was unsatisfied with their service and their approach to dealing with complaints. To summarise, they do not treat you like you are patient, you are simply a customer.

After a long research I chose London Vision Clinic to do my Laser Eye Surgery and was one of the best decisions I did in my life. No more glasses or contacts and the all the steps were very easy and the doctor sent me messages after the surgery to check on me and that's a personal touch that you can't get anywhere else. If you looking for a clinic to do your laser eye surgery I recommend LVC!
