Matt B. Singing Lessons

I met Matt 3 years ago when he was teaching Jazz singing in City Lit college in Holborn. After completing the course I decided to take private lessons with him. Currently he is helping me to prepare for my Music Performance university entry exam. Matt is among the vanguard of modern music tutors, focusing on things that are ACTUALLY useful to music students, whilst placing less emphasis on formal considerations. This is not to say that technique is not at the heart of what Matt does. He is a master of multiple aspects of technique and can always pull something out of his bag of tricks. The best thing for me is that he draws on so many different genres, cultures, and approaches, from the European classical tradition to Jazz, African rhythms and everything in between!
