This is a real gem of a place located a few minutes walk away from Leyton Midland Road Station. It's run by a very friendly couple who take pride in their food. The portion was very generous, a huge pile of rice and some big pieces of chicken on the bone. Wonderfully spiced and you can tell it's been slow cooked over time, the meat fell off the bone. Accompanying the dish was a fiery looking chilli sauce that I would advise adding in moderation, it brought big level of heat to the dish and a perfect contrast. Highly recommended

I think you need to make gateaux piment from fresh. It wasn’t good just keeping it warm from whenever you last made it. I appreciate what you guys are doing but I’d prefer my ma’s cooking
