We had relatively serious fat and oil blockage in our Kitchen \\ Washing Machine pipes. Ben Mears from Metro-Rod came round at very short notice, called me up the day before to arrange a preferred date and time, then again the next morning when he said he would call to let us know his ETA. Much better service and organisation than we'd had before with Dyno-Rod. Ben was perfectly on-time and got straight to work after I explained what I thought it might be. He was quick and efficient, and to top it off, just a hugely pleasant, polite and personable guy! Definitely the type of person I'd go for a beer with. He made me feel comfortable and got the work done while I was attending to my own work in another room. He kept me updated, let me know when he was coming and going, and just got the job done, quick clean-up and on to the next job after a quick chat. Highly recommended trade professional and company. I would ask our landlord to get Metro-Rod again should we have any further problems like this.

I have had an ongoing problem with a leak in the kitchen from my toilet tank in the bathroom. Ben visited today he introduced himself in a polite and cautious manner I explained the problem to him and he took his time examining the toilet water tank which was not an easy task as my toilet tank is tiled in and very narrow to work on, he was very patient and determined to get to the root of the problem, he didn't give up and finally discovered that the valve that had been fitted previously had a manufacture fault. He immediately google the nearest Plumbing specialist shop near to me and went to get the right part. I was overwhelmed with this as he had gone the extra mile to help me and I am so grateful for that. He fixed the new part and reassured me that my problem had now been resolved. He is so professional he kept me informed through out the process, I found him to be highly skilled and experienced in his job which has given me a lot of confidence in the Metro Rod Company which i shell be recommending. Very disappointed it has been one week I call them 3 times a day just to get the invoice for the job but so far there is no reply, it always go to voicemails, when I do speak to someone they promise to email me the invoice but it never actually happens very disappointed very poor after service. They were very fast with taking the payment but it’s impossible to get an invoice for the service done.
