The most terrible GP ever. During this pandemic, my mother who is critically vulnerable has run out of most of her medications and we urgently need more from the pharmacy. Her online pharmacy won't send it because we need a new prescription from her GP Dr and pharmacies wont give her emergency supplies. I have spent a week (except new years day) calling the GP to get a call with the Dr so they can rewrite her prescription. Every single day the reception says the Dr will call and not one phone call has happened. It's been a week. Today i was mad and told the reception that we really need the medication so Dr has to call, he sounded so unbothered but tried to say that they will and that they have booked me in. No phone call. No meds. Because of COVID taking her in into urgent care centre is very dangerous. Her blood pressure is severely high (190/86) as she hasn't had her meds for nearly a week. Apart from this they are overall really terrible, they mess up appointment times, Dr never ever calls, reception is crazily unhelpful, why have i waited a WEEK for one Dr phone call??? The whole GP is incompetent. I now have to risk taking my mum who has no immune system to A&E or urgent care just for a prescription during a PANDEMIC!? Unbelievable and so beyond upsetting.

This review is not about the surgery but about one of its staff, Hind from Dr. Kukar's practice at Parkview. Hind has always been lovely and willing to help. She always gone the extra mile to help me and my son whenever we came into the surgery. She is extremely professional and has a way of making the patients feel comfortable. As a receptionist and now a phlebotomist, she is an asset to the practice. Thank you so much for always being professional and nice. 5 Stars are for her

I lose the will to live with this clinic.. tried all week and didn't get through.. Today must be a record, waited in a telephone queue for 1hr and 3mins, I was apparently number 7 in the call at the beginning of this .. and I was number one for 30mins of this wait.. and didn't have the luxury of hanging up and saving my energy as needed urgent medication.. this surgery just gets worse and worse.. asked to have the ability to order online, but can't help me as they don't have the ability.. now I wonder if I'd get a different answer from someone else.. I do not believe at all that this is because the receptionist is busy but more to do with incompetence, laziness and mismanagement..!!

Trying to get through is virtually impossible, no matter what time they tell you to call you. The receptionists are absolutely incompetent, recently had the joy of speaking to someone who didn't even understand English (which wouldn’t normally matter but if you’ve spent hours, days chasing on a regular basis and it means there’s a mix up in prescription requests .. then quite frankly it matters..) and had to wait until she put someone else on the phone. Usually, you're lucky if you get the same answer to the same question. The Dr's are constantly changing to the point you have no idea who you're seeing and whether they'll actually have read your history. To top it off requested a Maternity Certificate twice and both times they've managed to not send it off. What a useless surgery, this practice is the exact reason why people go to the Urgent Care Centre instead, at least there you have a chance of being seen and if not that at least the receptionists are competent..!!
