Very appalled with the fact that this organization claims to provide person centered care, however, clients and families have very little input into what they desire their loved one's daily life to look like! Support is provided based on saving , not meeting needs. Dogs get out more frequently than most clients do!! Don't complain to the Ministry who funds this organization because they will turn a blind eye and simply tell you what a good job they are doing. This agency has many mini institutions in the community that operate based on similar values and principles as were found in the larger institutions of Ontario's recent past!

For agency that makes claims to taking responsibility having integrity its pretty shameful when senior or acting senior staff will undermind and ignore the rights and privacy of its participants releasing personal information about medications, behaviors, and personal information to thiee families and disagreements and conflicts with the agency in one case particular requiring CEO to step up to give a firm but harsh ultimatum to a mother of someone in care or find somewhere else to take them. This isn't an isolated incident same person has already been written upfor similar action to which effected a promotion ( along with being writing up for use of racial slurs ) still maintains with agency ( integrity is keeping it under wraps and handling it internally )all to be redirect focus away fact a breach of policy regards to confidentiality. Agency provides care in home at which information pertaining to family being released a real reach in trust yet stick to claims of respect integrity and responsibility
