It's my son's second week and I'm already seeing signs that are not good so im not impressed at all, my daughter went to Chelsea academy and she had a great learning experience, now she's in university doing her third year. What stands out to me the most is the teachers. I will be working on moving him out of this school asap.

Pimlico Academy pupils and students are, most probably, the worst behaved children when they use Pimlico Library. Not sure about the arrangement between the two. The library in Pimlico is the worst. It is noisy and the staff themselves talk among themselves in the library. The school children use the library as a playground and talk loudly recounting their personal lives. No one comes to a library to hear gossips or what should be discussed elsewhere. School children of mixed genders canoodle and hold hands right in the middle of other people and the staff seem oblivious or look the other way. Library toilets are closed from 3.00 pm to 5.30 on school days. Not sure if there were incidents in the toilets. But there were incidents in the other parts of the library perpetrated of students in uniform canoodling and caressing partners in public. City of Westminster should know that the tax payer pays for, at least, partly for the library and the academy so, they should respect the tax payers of the City of Westminster! On Sundays, church groups hire the halls and cause a mayhem on Lupus Street. Parked cars on the academy side of the street are used for sale of food and other items on Sunday afternoons. Are they licensed, no. Westminster CC had been alerted but nothing has been done. It is illegal trading and no one bats an eyelid. That part of Lupus Street is the supposed to be the upmarket part of Pimlico. And, these illegal traders are making it a real market for illegal trade. Senior citizens of Pimlico are dismayed, disappointed and disgusted by the going ons. But, since its inception, the new library is a haven for noisy and unethical behaviour. It is real racket!! Rating should be: five tridents for bad behaviour by the council, school, library and staff
The worst school ever. This school does not care about the students! All it cares about is becoming the best school in Westminster or London. They make a huge deal when you are getting a behaviour detention - after getting two warnings you get put in detention for one hour. Being late by 1 minute or coming exactly on the Bell still gets you one hour. The sixth form department will do anything to make sure ‘dumb’ people don’t get in. The teachers in this school are the worst, yes they are educated but they are the worst. When I past lupus street some day, I hear students saying “ I legit loved maths in primary.. it’s just this school and the teachers make me hate the subjects I loved” or “ the subjects aren’t even the bad bit it’s the teachers” They don’t let you go on holiday at all during school times even if for emergencies. The recpition are very rude. Teachers have favourites! Worst school. Very strict so that they can be the best. Worst !!! Don’t send youe children here. The teachers are evil, they call home only with negatives and say your child has done something terrible today... they over exaggerate so that they can get in trouble. This is the worst. Prom here is terrible even when the students work very hard to raise money and after all the hard work in their years even after their GSCEs’ Just utterly terrible
The sports hall itself is great, a good size and in great condition. However there are two problems. The first is that they have no available storage space. All the cupboards off the hall are reserved solely for the schools use. Fine if you don't need to keep anything there but for us it made it impossible to use. The second, and biggest, problem was the service. We'd regularly turn up only to be told that the hall wasn't available and was needed for school use. We got full refunds, but it was pretty disruptive and why couldn't they call us in advance? This is a great shame as with some better communications this could be a great hall. As I said, the facilities are fantastic and most weeks it was fine but there was still enough problems to make it frustrating to use.
Good venue for teaching events. It's a school after all, so expect to feel like one.
