Visited Ron's the other day to look at purchasing a rod and reel. He is a lovely old chap, very friendly and helpful. Shop was in a bit of disarray due to deliveries but I'm sure it usually looks good. I seriously hope the business survives this Covid-19. Will be visiting again soon.
Have been going to Ron’s for just over 40 yrs, and thank god it has not changed, the banter has not changed and he will still try and empty your pockets of every last farthing. Don’t know if he stills sings, but this man is an all rounder. Friend good bait, knowledgeable of the THAMES, Colne , and all the lakes in between. Visit Ron’s just to meet the man who has survived the rest, it’s worth it just for the crack. Well done mate. Des
A great shop run by a lovely guy, nice range of bait and tackle and Ron is a treasure trove of local knowledge. One of the last tackle shops in London as well, I would recommend here to all anglers within London looking for bait. Some tips and spots or tackle.
