Went to taste Indian food. The food was very flavoursome and was cooked well in time. I would definitely recommend this place

One of my all time favourite Indian food places. Nice casual vibe on the ground floor with some of the most authentic (without being heavily loaded with oil/cream) Indian street food, with fine dining downstairs. Highly recommend railway lamb and bun tiki.

Walked in and asked for a table, manager said they were fully booked but had a table for 45 minutes before next booking. We took the table as we were after light snacks and tea. The restaurant is nicely decorated, tables and chairs were comfortable, the tables had benches without a back similar to wagamama etc. The menu was simple and easy to order from. The waitress was lovely and helpful. Ordered a few snacks with masala tea and peppermint tea. The masala tea was fab. The starter were all good bar the Pani Puri which I felt lacked the flavour and size. Nice tea visit, would recommend you to try if local.

The street food section upstairs is excellent, with a good range of offerings that are genuine and certainly reminded me of the street food from my childhood. Don't eat downstairs, it's overpriced and there are better offerings available elsewhere in London. Amusingly, they have some faux Indian advertising posters on the walls. The Hindi written on these is either incorrect or (badly) transliterated - if you read Hindi, you'll be amused by the example. Given how easy it would be to check, I'm not sure why this is the case. It doesn't distract from the dining experience, though.

Nice ambiance, polite and respectful staff. Social distancing maintained. A good place to eat if you are looking for a Indian cuisine.
