Real mixed bag. The battered fish and crab burger was fantastic, however the mackerel and mussels were really poor. The food came out one by one in 15 minute intervals. It took 1 hour 20 minutes for the main course to arrive. The side dish arrived half an hour earlier. All very strange. Oh and tiniest portion of chips. See photo

I would have given it 5 stars but we didn't enjoy the bench style sitting. Good for COVID-19 season though indoor market style setting ....inside but outside. Great tasting food great service Great vibe

A really interesting mix of casual feeling (benches in a covered market) with high quality food. I’d definitely return. Cost felt about right at 80 for plenty to eat and a few cocktail G&Ts a glass of white wine. Portion of cream mussels was enormous and delicious - winner of the night. Mackerel a good choice too. Grilled king prawns & battered fish about as expected. Service was a little lacking in that nobody seated us for a while on arrival and failed to take drinks orders for 10 minutes or so, but when they were serving they were pleasant, particularly the owner who took our bill payment.

Had a family lunch there today with everybody ordering a variety (and most dishes from the menu) of meals and every single one looked absolutely generous and was delicious. Service was also excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Exceeded my expectations !! I ordered the mussels, crab risotto, prawns and fries and I just couldn't fault any of it. We had to wait a little despite having booked but except from that the waitress was great and food delicious. Would recommend !
