Although I have known James for a long time, I only upgraded my coffee drinking at home last year during the 1st 'lock down', however I've been a monthly customer every since. The quality of the coffee is superb, and we've never been disappointed, however more than this the customer service is amazing - orders arrive very quickly, and the process is very smooth. Very happy to recommend Square Mile 5 stars *****

There is no comparison to the quality of SMCR's beans and the customer service is bar none incredible! I've only recently in the past 2 years come into the coffee world and very much only recently discovered James Hoffman's incredible philosophy towards coffee. Ill admit I have wholeheartedly jumped down the rabbit hole of James's world and I will never look back, gorging on his videos with pleasure. I thoroughly enjoy weighing my beans, grinding them in my wilfa and taking the time to wash my paper filter, bloom my grind, pour over and wait for the pleasure that's coming my way moments later! :) But that's not all, whats most impressive, his ethos clearly extends to his staff. Being still a clear novice on flavour notes, I called their customer service after receiving my next order of freshly brewed beans with a question/query regarding a rather pungent bag of beans as one of them. Not only did Tom know my query before i could finish my sentence, and exactly which beans i was on about, he then proceeded to take 5 minutes of his time to not only assure me but explain to me the difference between a naturally processed fermented bean and a washed process bean. The difference in tastes, flavour notes and personal experience. The clear knowledge he had and the pleasant way he informed me was exemplary. Now i can jump down another rabbit hole of the Caballero El Campo kind and look forward to it! Because ill be damned if i open the other bag of La Bolsa to try before these El Campo's are ground to dust lol. Congratulations Tom, your customer service (unknowingly) got me to spend the time to write a glowing review and you deserve it! Thank you and the other beans (Jamaican Blue Mountain) we discussed from Taylor's Betty's are on their way for you and James to enjoy, its the least I could do (I just cant give you the roast date as they don't know either lol) :)

I have to give a big shoutout to Square Mile for their amazing customer service. I ordered coffee once and participated in the Worlds Largest Coffee Tasting a couple months back. For the tasting, my kit came late but most likely was not Square Miles fault, but a mix up at Canada Post. I contacted Square Mile and they resent the kits along with other perks like a coupon code and a bag of coffee a little later. All the while, email communication was no longer then a day and was super polite and apologetic. As for the coffees, spot on to their descriptors and many unique flavors as described by James Hoffman. I highly recommend Square Mile even though we are an ocean apart.

its not cafe.. its roasting factory. u can test coffee and buy coffee stuff. staff is really nice!!!!!!!!
