Hidden gem! Lots of history in this church, and it’s a very peaceful place (and one of the rare smaller church that remains open to public). Damien Hirst fans will find an exquisite sculpture here.

An absolutely wonderful find ... hidden gem in the City of London. London's oldest parish church with beautiful architecture and stained glass. Well worth a visit.

London hidden gem, a wonderful small church from the XII century, just 5 minutes walk from Saint Paul. Location for many movies from Elizabeth, to Sherlock and Avengers. Very very beautiful and not to miss.

This church dating from 1123 is possibly one of the oldest churches in London. It has tons of history and is an amazing old building. Very well worth the 5 visitors fee. The tiny gatehouse leading to the church is also amazing. Dating from 1240 this narrow gate house is straight out of fairy tales.

just in the heart of the City of London you come across this beautiful piece of historic heritage. 800 year old, this church survived the Reformation, Great Fire of London and now is still an active parish church where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere today. Do not miss the opportunity to visit one of the oldest surviving building in London that contains pieces of Norman, Tudor and later architecture styles. Interesting fact - William Wallace was executed just near the church
