I had an assessment for counselling here. The counsellor was very friendly, understanding, and I felt I was in a safe space. I also attend a painting class at the centre, organised through the charity 'Mind', in Hackney. I have only had one class so far but even after this I would highly recommend it. The teacher was very kind and explained everything well, the class itself was relaxing and meditative, it was nice to meet other people also. I think this place is a great resource, and very necessary for wellbeing

this place was recommended by my therapist a couple of years ago and i visited a few times for workshops to help with my social anxiety. i felt welcome and the facilitators of the workshops were knowledgeable in their field and really kind. i'll be definitely back.

Local centre for good mental health. Lots of courses available including counselling, ceramics, yoga - so quite a large range. Courses are inexpensive and geared to income. Hackney residents who are part of the Wellbeing network get classes for free. It's intimate here and the atmosphere isn't 'schooly.' Definitely worth looking into!
