Unbelievably helpful. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone today (on his day off) and he took the time to explain to me how to adjust my derailleur myself - he also advised if I couldn't do it I could bring it to him the next day as he was open! Top guy and very friendly

In my comment about a year ago, I wrote that as far as I knew, the employee that had robbed Ash was running his own place honestly and quite well. Since then someone I spoke to told me he no longer patronises John's Cycles because of issues he has had there. Something that I don't pick up from the reviews is that Ash's current team are also good to deal with in their own right. In my experience, they have been.
I visited the shop today and the gentleman was extremely helpful. He was more than happy to advise and to guide on many aspects of mountain biking, and biking in general. When I am in the area again I will be there 100%. Thanks for your time.
Excellent service, value and advice. I’ve seen a negative review about the owner not getting up from his seat. My observation was that the very knowledgeable and helpful gentleman is disabled. An excellent local business
