There is very good Aikido club at Holistic Fitness with a great teacher who welcomes beginners as well as advanced students at all ages. It is a very diverse group of really interesting and genuinely nice people. There is great support and encouragement from everyone to advance your skills and do gradings. You can do trial classes before signing up as a member.

I've been a student here for almost a year and love coming to class. Very supportive environment from other students and all of the instructors. Always challenged to do your best and train hard. I've seen massive improvements in my strength, fitness and skill - highly recommended and lots of fun.

Big five stars to Stephen Dixon and the recent self-defence training he gave to a group of us at work. No nonsense, practical and theoretical ways to defend yourself from attack. The demonstrations where clear and concise and I really like the reviews of previous sessions, it helped build-up a practice of self-defence. Obviously, six 1 hour sessions is not going to make me fully equipped but it gave me an insight into defending myself from physical attack. I would highly recommend some training, just in case you are ever caught out in a bad situation.

My son has been attending since Aug 2014 and it's been truly amazing to see him progress through Lil Dragons and on into KidZone. Watching him trot off each week in his uniform meant my daughter couldn't wait to attend as well! Lil Dragons starts the children off with a mix of games and exercise in a friendly, professional and disciplined environment. This helps them to learn to listen to the instructors (who are fantastic!) while they also enjoy themselves. When they graduate to KidZone (8 years old) the atmosphere naturally grows a little more formal, with moves needing to be more crisp and precisely executed. This change arrives at the right kind of time for those who want to focus and improve their technique and provides an opportunity away from school for them to achieve just that.
