This branch had a nice vibe. Our waitress was lovely. Starters were good. All was well up until that point. Myself and a friend ordered steaks to be cooked medium. As we understood this meant pink in the middle. We received steaks cooked well done. When we complained I felt we were treated in an extremely condescending and patronising manner. As a foody and also as is my friend we have had many a steak in many a place. We know how a medium cooked steak is meant to look and taste. My photos on google are hurtling towards 5 million, hence I feel its fair to say I know what I am talking about. We were offered replacements which were better, but to be honest still not great. At 35 for a steak with no sides one should be happy with the way it is cooked. Just to say the other two in our group were happy with their choice of black cod and chicken milanese. Dessert was yummy too. #cuerevue

First time at this restaurant, loved the decor & the mini spray hand sanitizer on the tables that smelt so lovely, what a brilliant touch ! Food and service were excellent, the piping hot fish curry I chose as my main was a full of flavour with a light kick to it. With the most subtle of upsells we rounded off the meal with salted caramel espresso martinis - congratulations to all the staff for such a well run restaurant. This will be our 'go to ' place during the cricket season at Lords!

Best place in Saint John's Wood. Staff very friendly and helpful.the food was pretty good, the wine as well. Decent prices and great atmosphere. We had fried courgette and calamari as starters, for mains we went for egg Benedict with fries and grilled halloumi with couscous .

Such a beautiful place with exceptional decor and super friendly service. Dinner or lunch in style with the vibe of safety and class. Greeted warmly by lady with the most amazing smile who shows passion for what she does! Temperature check at the door and hand sanitisers available upon arrival. Tables very well spaced out. Food tasted good and desserts are to die for

Great food, lovely staff and elaborated peculiar interiors. The food was well presented and tasty as the drinks provided. The well designed retrò - modern style interiors is worth the visit as well as the great atmosphere and food.

My sister and I had a wonderful evening at The Ivy, St. John's Wood. I booked our table two days ago, for either outside the restaurant or inside and next to an open window. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the team who politely asked us if we could have our temperatures taken (I found this reassuring and in keeping with government safety measures with regards to the current pandemic). We were informed that there were no external tables available, but were offered a lovely table next to a large open window. We were subsequently waited on by a team of professional, attentive and friendly people. Throughout our meal the team made us feel valued and welcomed. Lee (who I am assuming may have been a manager), in particular, was entertaining, very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Lee seems to be a genuinely nice person who is passionate about delivering exemplary service to all of the customers. Throughout our meal, he interacted with other diners in a consistent manner.....his personality and the service from the team were enough for me to return in future. The food and cocktails were delicious. I have never been fond of gin but ordered two rhubarb and raspberry gin cocktails because the flavour was incredible. I chose one of the specials, the seabass fillet, with two sides as my main. The the food tasted fresh and appeared to be of high quality, the seasoning was just right and the food had been cooked to perfection. I look forward to a return visit.

Lovely ambience, however the food was a little disappointing. The shepherds pie was not hot and had to be sent back to be reheated. The steak didn't have any flavour/seasoning. Crème brûlée get 10/10 though. It was great!

After 4 months of not eating out my sister treated me to The Ivy St. John's Wood. This is the second time eating there and it was worth the wait. As usual the staff were extremely welcoming, professional and friendly. In particular the manager Lee took the opportunity to greet us and really make us feel like valued customers. He checked that we were happy with the food and drinks. He also gave us a tantalising description of the dessert menu. The truffles were just as he had described them with tea! The food, drinks and staff are superb. If you are looking for good quality food in a tranquil setting, with spacious seating and ventilation look no further.
