Going for an ultrasound and breast check can be scary and uncomfortable for someone who had to get this done for the first time. The staff at 108 Harley Street were very comforting - right from the time of booking my appointment to the final consultation. The admin staff was very patient and informative while I asked them a bazillion questions while booking my appointment. They advised me on the documents I needed to carry, why I needed to get an ultrasound and everything in between. During my scans, the radiographer and radiologist were very professional and caring. They really put me at ease. The breast consultant was very polite and understanding. Overall my experience at The London Breast Clinic, 108 Harley Street was excellent and I would definitely recommend the clinic.

I would advise any lady contemplating using 108 Harley Street, to desist.Today, I had a horrific experience. (1) a stroppy radiographer, who refused to lower the table to accommodate my petite stature, during a procedure for 3D mammogram which should have been a non event. Instead I was forced to stand on tippy toes of one foot as I have only one functioning leg , and have my shoulder stretched beyond its natural range in an effort not to fall over. (2) Having provided payment I asked when I could have a copy of the films for my records and was handed a CD of the procedure which has restricted proprietary software. Some people might consider this sharp practice, but from a contractual perspective I consider it fraud. I have never experienced such lack of care, indifference and pure ignorance in a medical setting in my 64 years.

I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Tena Walters and received 10/10 treatment from start to finish. Tena is experienced and very personable and kind, I had a vacuum biopsy with Dr Teh who was so knowledgeable and reassuring, and the lovely Leah held my hand and kept me calm throughout as I have a phobia to needles. Thank you to all of you who took excellent care of me. I would definitely recommend 108 Harley astreet to anyone who has a breast issue. Thanks again.

worst clinic ever!!!!!!! do not book. I tried to book an appointment with Dr MacNeil and had the unfortunate encounter with a very angry receptionist DAVINA. on the website its says you can have an appointment within 24hours, but that is not true at all!!! Davina was rude, and started to get annoyed on the phone as I was asking questions about which radiologist and consultant to see. At one point she got off the phone and then came back and in a rude manner asked me, so what have you decided? ........ I was shocked because as a person with a server medical history with breast cancer in my family , I was asking questions because I wanted to be seen by the best doctor and by a woman doctor. she made me feel like I was wasting her time on the phone asking these questions, that to a patient are very important. when she started to shout I told her she shouldn't have a job where she works with the public as she is clearly a very angry person and doesn't like working with patients. just a very sad situation. I got off the phone without my appointment. I called back to try and speak to a manager and another receptionists picked up and pretended she didn't know who the practice manager was and wouldn't let me speak to one. I was extremely upset by this. The most unprofessional behaviour and it just seems very juvenile and vindictive!! I have been going to this clinic for 15 years when D rGilmore was running it and so has my family. Im sure he would be appalled by the behaviour that a patient of his has received. if you value your health, do not book 108 Harley street, the practice clearly doesn't have the same ethos as before. And the is very badly represented by the reception staff. Ms G.G
