Fantastic all round. They were really helpful in finding the right course for me. We had a small class which meant the teacher got to spend a lot of time with each of us, and really helped to perfect my technique. I would definitely recommend the beginners course for anyone starting out!

I've done a private course at The Photo Academy with Francois and it was great! I learned all what I requested. He was super good explaining and he answered all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend this place.

On a recent trip to London I took a small group class on Street Photography with the London Photo Academy. The communication before the class was excellent. Instructor was on time and we met at a cafe. The instructor defined street photography and presented excellent examples by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Garry Winogrand, Vivian Maier, Robert Doisneau, Elliott Erwitt, William Klein, etc. We discussed what we saw and it was very interesting what different perspectives we all had. We then had numerous photo exercises that lasted 15 minutes each. Examples were to find echos, people at work, shapes, patterns, specific color, etc. We then shared our photos after each exercise. Attached is a photo taken of a person at work. The instructor was very encouraging with our efforts and offered advice on finding contrasts, focal points, exposure, story telling, emotion, suggestions for improvement, etc. When we were completed with all our walking assignments, we met and reviewed everyone's complete set of photos. Good bad, out of focus, etc. all of them. Very helpful. I strongly recommend this course and will do another as soon as I return to London. The weather that day was cold and rainy, but it had no impact on how great the the learning experience was. Special thanks to my instructor Eleni P.
