I took the 3-day course to learn TM. I found the course really good - very friendly and un-intimidating. Gemma - the teacher - is very inspiring and very supportive. She made the course very interactive - we all had many questions. I feel that my practice even just after two weeks is making a big difference in my life. I attended my first ever course to learn meditation with The Meditation Trust and although I had a basic understanding of meditation in general, it was very interesting to learn how Transcendental Meditation differs from many of the other courses available today. The course was run over 3 days, and although I was a novice didn't feel out of place at all. The classes were well run by Dr Beckley (Gemma), who explained the TM process in a friendly and easy manner. Like me, there were many in the class who had plenty of questions to ask Gemma about how, why and what etc... So we all came away from the class with a very good understanding of what TM is all about and the best advice for making TM a part of our daily lives. After scouting around on the internet, The Meditation Trust certainly seem to offer the best package at the most affordable price. I think being a registered charity is the reasoning behind this, making the 'magic' and benefits of TM accessible to those who otherwise would not be able to afford the more expensive alternatives. From my own experience, my advice to anyone considering TM is that you give The Meditation Trust a call. Highly recommended! Rob Smith Colchester
