I wish the previous manager still worked there, he was so sweet and polite. The present manager is a rude offensive bully who will beat you down, not permit you to complete a sentence, shout at you for no reason and then accuse you of being rude. What a sick set up. Avoid this shop. You will go in to perform a simple task and leave thinking that you had somehow accidentally walked into one of the circles of hell. Many others have experienced such abusive behaviour from the manager and other staff members, as they have posted in their reviews below. All the guy does is argue. He even argues with our reviews.

Quick service, friendly staff, spacious shop and lots of options for postage. The prices are a little high, but I guess that's the postal industry nowadays. The shop is laid out so that you pay for your postal goods (packaging) at the first till, and then postal services at the 2nd till. It might be easier to just have one till.

Elliot has done a great job providing East Finchley with a well equipped, well laid out and clean post office. Most of the staff there are polite, kind, helpful and patient but there are a couple who, if I were to guess, go out of their way to cause a problem out of nothing. A little refresher course in human interaction and manners would be very beneficial.

I went to the post office today and two persons bypassed the queue and directly went to the back of the shop without realizing (I think) that they had to queue in the front part of the shop first. After discussing it with some friends, it seems like I am not the only ones who witnessed / experienced it. I wondered if there was a way to improve the queuing system to avoid any ambiguity and frustrations. Thanks To reply to your answer: I have some background in customer experience and business opportunities. I really care about East Finchley High Road and shop locally as much as possible. As an example, the children have a bit of pocket money every week and I used to come to UOE for them to spend it on a regular basis. This is the reason why I thought it was worth for me to share a specific customer experience and opportunity for improvement. By the tone of your answer, I have upset you which wasn't at all my intention. Please note that the two persons in question were not using the fast track services that you mentioned. I had time to observe them while I was waiting for them to be served.

Great customer service, well-organised queueing area, pleasant atmosphere and a good selection of items for sale.
