Fawlty Towers of Opticians Over the years this shower have ordered me the wrong lenses, ordered lenses that don't even exist, failed to call when lenses have arrived, failed to post them when the notes clearly say Urgent - send by Post (see pic) , only ordered partial supplies. There is no communication written or verbal, between the staff that is followed. Complaints to head office have not been dealt with satisfactorily. I have no trust in the competence of the personnel and will now go elsewhere to get my eyes retested as I cannot put the health of my eyes in their hands. I tried to give zero stars, but it wouldn't let me. One is one too many.

save yourself the ballache and go to your local optician. it took VE 6 WEEKS to get my glasses back on my face. there is nothing express about this service, nor did i have much vision in the weeks i've been deprived of my specs. they're not able to provide simple updates in the process when the delivery date slips. and i get it, with the pandemic and all, but it's been happening since march 2020 - plenty of time to figure out the process by now and be able to give accurate timings or at least have the decency to keep the customer informed. the staff in the branch was always nice and pleasant, so a gold star to them. but VE has some deeper issues that make simply getting a lens replacement a nervewrecking ordeal HOWEVER the store manager is a really nice guy - i got offered 50% of my money back for the troubles with the delays, which is good - he didn't hesitate to admit the screw ups and try to make it right
