Worst customer care ever. They have mistakenly sent my contacts to my old address in south London even though I’ve called 5 times in the last 7 months to change the address and update my orders. Still have not received my contacts despite them charging me every month still through direct debit. They don’t answer the phone even during business hours. They never follow up on requests or call back as they promise to. I’ve been with Vision Express for over 7 years and have never received such terrible service.

Brilliant optometrists, friendly and professional. However, disappointed by the sales staff. I’ve been trying to update my direct debit for my contact lenses so I’ve been advised by their customer service to go to their shop to sort it out. Got to their shop one day, 30 mins before closing time to be bluntly told that they are unable to help or it takes too long for them to do it, or I should contact some other department. No contact details given of the department which I was meant to contact. Clearly they couldn’t be bothered which I found very frustrating, as I had to waste my time to go there for absolutely nothing. I’ve just given up and stopped my payments to them.

I moved to this Vision Express as I moved to North London 4 years ago, previous to this I was happy with my service from Vision Express. However here, there seems to be a lack of and high turnover of staff. This means that in my experience there has been a lack of care and attention. In the past I have had contact lenses undelivered being left without glasses or lenses at one point. Once I was turned away from an appointment (which I had taken holiday from work for) as they did not have the correct lenses in store only letting me know when I was in store ready for my appointment. They also don't have appointments for weeks and hardly have any out of work hours slots. I have also noticed that they have changed lens supplier (which again was a huge issue to sort out) and these new lenses feel cheaper and irritating - probably cutting costs without passing this onto me. My lenses are blurry and hurt my eyes. I have told people my concerns but simply no one is there to take ownership. To top it all off my last batch of lenses were my previous not current prescription. My direct debit isn't exactly cheap and I am close to breaking point with this place.
