Awful opticians. Recommended my mum buy glasses off-the-shelf from a supermarket or Poundland. Poor advice from an opticians, especially given she has an astigmatism. Please avoid and go to a proper opticians.

vision express tesco colney hatch is the worst my appointment was 9am and the shop only opened 9.18 there is no respect for the clinic’s appointments. The phone office kept ringing for half an hour and none of the employees answered I left the the clinic and phone still running..... poor service. And most importantly not all staff wearing face mask....will never go back

I bought glasses from here, I insisted I needed strong ones that would resist twisting and breaking. I was hard sold expensive ones; I normally resist this type of selling but was in a hurry so went along with it. When they did break 3 weeks later I was made to feel like a nuisance; was challenged about responsibility when I raised conversation I had with her (sales manager) when I bought them. Maybe this is the new face of opticians; it never used to be like this when it was ‘Tesco Opticians’.. The ‘hard sell’ may give immediate sales results but will have a long term effect of customer retention.. I will keep clear if Vision express from now on. Just collected my repaired glasses. Young assistant handed them to me with a smile. Very nice, very professional so am revising my review based on this experience from 2 stars to 4 stars. Thankyou!
