No Wi-fi and 4G doesn’t get through so you can’t use your phone to check how good the wine is on Vivino. The cash desk design and queuing system confusing and requires a complete overhaul. Wake up Waitrose!

Last Sunday, I had a click and collect item to pick up. There was a long queue outside of the Waitrose with customers who were waiting to shop. I asked the security guard, if I could go to the customer service desk and collect my internet parcel. He rudely refused to allow me entry and said that I was going to do my shopping. I had no shopping trolley or basket, I eventually just walked into the Waitrose and showed the security guard my text message. This stressful situation could have been avoided, if some common sense was applied by the security guard. I told a partner at the customer service and he was not remotely interested or bothered, as a result, I left and showed the security guard my parcel. Did he apologise, unfortunately not.

Good shop, it's closing soon for a refurb, should be great once it reopens

Hi Arron with 2rs Duty Manager, I really hope you are pleased with the way you handled my problem today. With your aggressive and patronising manner you managed to upset a mature lady who has been shopping at Waitrose since it opened. Thanks for offering to empty my shopping and telling me I should go to Asda. The shop is an absolute shambles and needs an efficient staff on a Saturday. Why so many staff without masks? I hope to met with the store Manager to discuss this further.

Definitely the most grocery storesque grocery store in the neighborhood. Really packed most of the time and pretty narrow aisles. Not too many prepared foods but a number of things that heat up quickly. Reasonable produce, okay meats and cheeses and decent breads. Good prices and sale items on some stuff if you're looking out, including better pricing on two. Lots of stuff is their brand and it's always considerably cheaper. Try to go at off peak hours.
