Waitrose was closed apparently. Says so on this sign. Best part being you’re an idiot for not seeing it. The security card on duty was on hand to tell people how stupid they were for not seeing it too.

Lower than average experience from supposedly best chain of supermarkets. Queues are usual at this store. Sometimes, the personnel behaves unprofessionally. On 13/01/2021 at around 6pm, at the self-checkout, an Asian young man instead of assisting with shopping, was chatting with another young lady. Both part of Waitrose personnel. Later, same guy, started providing customer service with a following phrase: \sorry mate\. I am sure we had never met each other before. The personnel should be well trained to provide a proper customer service. Customers should not get off licence experience here. M&S not far from this store has much higher standards.

This is the best Waitrose Branch! On a par with Bloomsbury and Hove I would say. I love the Sushi - love the Craster Kippers and the Herring milts in the fishmongers Belgian beers, fine wines and dozens of spirits and many other unusual drinks all the other normal quality produce and a shed load of chocolates and other treats. What's not to love?!!
