Due to the Covid restrictions, I have never managed to dine in house at Wander. But I was lucky to try two of their Wander At Home meal kits and it was wonderful. The food is amazing and I cannot believed the whole operation is just run solely by Alexis. I bought 3 orange wines and having just opened the first bottle, I’m so pleased to have discovered wines I would normally not have access. Go on, support your local neighbourhood restaurant... trust me, the food is great (coming from someone who works in the industry).

Great place for Aussie/Greek food, leaning more towards the Greek side. We went there for a special event and all the dishes were delicious. We had the first dolmades that we’ve enjoyed and they had some really interesting combinations that worked such as chicken liver parfait with a hot cross bun. I would highly recommend. Dog friendly as well

Absolutely love Wander. It’s a true London gem. The food is exquisite, the menu always fresh and innovative and I love the modern Australian touches to the dishes. I’ve been 5 times now and it keeps getting better every single time! Complements to the chef and team for a relaxed, genuine, professional and friendly atmosphere. I’m proud to be a regular Wander customer, it’s like being at home. 5 stars every time!

Tried the takeaway service, went for the 55 for 2 menu. It was good but not great. Burrata and pesto, mussels in spicy thao sauce and sour dough with vegemite all excellent. The crockette was gooey and bolognese sauce was tasteless, just fried mince. However the fresh spaghetti were good. Also the portions were too small. I ate all the spaghetti, it was a reasonable portion for one.

A fab restaurant with a great atmosphere. We had the chef's banquet with the wine pairing. All the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The wines were all natural -no hangover the next morning. The staff were friendly and efficient. Good value for the quality.

Been to this restaurant several times, with family and friends and it has always been a delight. As such we started using their takeaway service when lockdown began. This, again, was great but as can happen with places the quality of the food has been let down by the customer service we received on NYE. We paid 120 for a meal for 4 and ordered 2 weeks in advance. One of us didn’t like one of the courses so when I reserved it I made a note asking if it could possibly be changed. When I picked the meal up I asked if it had been. I wouldn’t even have been that bothered if it was a polite no, but instead I got a unbelievably curt response to my question (“what do you expect me to cook”) as well as to the feedback email I sent as follow up. This was on top of one of the courses being missing, with very limited apology The owners excuse was seemingly justified as being “we’re busy” but in my opinion this isn’t good enough - you are a restaurant serving good food, what else do you expect? If someone had previously asked me for a local recommendation this would have been in my top 3. Unfortunately it now won’t be as there are a lot of other options in the area. All avoidable for the sake of some basic, decent, customer service.

My gazillenth visit to my favourite restaurant in London, excelled itself yet again. I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is SO welcoming; from the decor, to the playlists, to the gorgeous ceramic plates & water cups. I always bring different friends here & it caters to every single one of their varying tastes. This time, I went with my other half, who is a little bit squeamish with trying new things. By the end of the night, he had tried the salted cod baccala croquettes & octopus ragu & left with an enormous satiated grin on his face, uttering the words I hear so often; “that was amazing, I’m going to bring (insert name) here”. That’s what it is. A restaurant where you feel so comfortable & happy. Served by accommodating staff, incredible value, low intervention, delicious wines & food that forces you to make inappropriate (when Harry met Sally) noises whilst eating. It’s casual, yet so so so special. A real find in the less visited area of Stokey, filled with passion, love & lots of pink
