Amazing post-sales service from owner/director Nicholas! I bought a lovely old 2004 Merc E320 from him, a great car which had been well looked after and took me to Prague and back with no problems at all in the first couple of weeks. I was gutted then, when suddenly the car developed a problem out of nowhere and wouldn't start. What I know now is I should've just gone straight back to Nicholas... instead I took it to my local Merc garage, who proceeded to charge 400 on diagnostics alone, and claimed it to be a faulty ECU; they quoted 1500 for a replacement part & labour, and even with that would not guarantee it would definitely fix the problem! At that point I got in touch with Nicholas to see what he recommended. He offered me a refund if I wanted one, or to get it fixed - all at his own cost. So, back went the car to his garage (I loved the car, there was no question of a refund if he could fix it) where he soon discovered it wasn't the ECU at all (having bought and fitted a replacement one, and also successfully bench-tested the original) - as he suspected it was something far less sinister and costly: a SAM unit under the driver's seat. Probably my own fault; I have a vague recollection of driving through a flooded lane on my work commute... those SAM units are not very waterproof, apparently! Car has been back with me and it's all back to its reliable best and I've already put another tonne of trouble-free miles on it. If buying with confidence is important to you, I cannot recommend Nicholas highly enough - I'm keeping his number in my phone, not only because even now after having spent all that money getting my car back on the road, he's still telling me to get back in touch if there are any further problems(!) - but also I reckon I'll get my next car from him... hopefully not for a little while yet though.
Very quick and easy process, I needed a certificate of destruction for my vehicle so I could obtain my TFL scrap payment, my van was collected on Monday and I received the certificate the next morning. Fantastic service thanks
