Absolutely terrible customer service!! After making a two orders by accident I immediately contacted them stating that I wanted to cancel one of the orders. They informed me that it would be refunded and as I payed by PayPal I assumed it would be pretty quick, a couple days later I emailed asking if I had been refunded as I hadn't received it, all I received back end an email with just "have been refunded" with a screen shot of some random information stating that it had been refunded. (Not a genuine receipt) also all the information on the screenshot was incorrect and obviously not my order. After stating that this was not my order and that it obviously hadn't been refunded, they stopped emailing me back. I had to send more emails and in the end ring them. After the call they said that it would be done after the call but I still had to email them again to remind them. Over a week of constant emails just to get a refund on a order that was canceled moments after it was made?! I Will never shop with them again because of the way customer service was and the unnecessary stress. Also I received the order that I didn't cancel and the tamper proof sticker had been partially pealed off. I didn't use the product and honestly couldn't bring myself to return it as I would have to deal with them again. I decided to take it as an expensive lesson.

Unfortunately, within a few weeks the MTEC discs got rusted all over (check out the pictures). After sending an e-mail about this, I was told that: "they can assure that this happens from time to time, but certainly would not be an indication of a fault in the disc". I should have chosen the option of an additional coating, but too be honoust I was no aware that I needed to. I had extensive consultations with the MTEC employee prior to the purchase and I was NOT told that I should have ordered the extra coating. So I assumed that the standard discs would at least have a standard coating, just like the standard discs I bought in the past. If I had known this, I would certainly have had the extra coating applied. Technically there's nothing wrong with the discs themselves, but if you're buying these types of discs for a serious amount of money, you don't want them looking like this after a few weeks. So if you buy discs from MTEC, don't forget to get them coated right away. It may cost you a little more, but then at least you don't have these kinds of issues. Mtec offered to send free coating so with that the issue is solved.
Bought front discs and and was home everyday they apparently tried to deliver 4 days in a row after several emails they just didn't care also had the eBay feedback removed as wasn't to there liking. Next time I'm will pay the extra 5 and buy from a better company
Didn't want to believe the poor reviews about customer service on here but alas they are true. Mtec sent me the wrong disc's although they had the EXACT information on my car they still sent the wrong disc's. Which according to their "customer service" department was my fault somehow. Refused return postage after constant emails. Customer service terrible.
Drilled grooved black edition front discs my cars a 2010 525 like the ones in the pics. They look great on and shipping was fast. Get the black they stand out against the rest
Superb service from start to finish. Phoned to place the order on Saturday and was able to complete my full order of drilled slotted front and rear discs with silver coating applied and pads. The entire order arrived well packed on Tuesday. Parts really are phenomenal quality and were literally half the price of other suppliers. Outstanding. Keep up the good work.
Brilliant brakes,very good price... get the coating on them if can to prevent rust..al brake disc rust wuickly so get the coatings on them if you can. i used mtec drilled and grooved discs on my gti and have to say there fantastic,i used high quality brembo pads with the mtec discs and bang sheer stopping power from cold and better slightly pad.they will rust as any brake disc so get the coatings done!i will definitely be using mtec again,good service,exact sizes ordered and love the brakes on my gti,from low speeds and high speeds very good.i did not get the coating so i had to paint the disc hats to protect them from surface rust for visual good looks through the alloys but well impressed.they look great they feel great well happy.
ordered discs and pads all round for my car, which are great I have no complaints with the product at all. Unfortunately the communication from mtec is shocking firstly I did have to send the rear discs and pads back as I did order the wrong ones so my fault there. I was told a full refund would be given including the postage which they arrange through parcel force I do have the email to prove this mtec!!. So today mtec after around 4 hours finally email to confirm a refund has been given but only the discs plus 2 still waiting for an explanation as to why they have done this but most probably won’t get one. Secondly I was told the discs come painted which the correct rears were but not the fronts, just a joke from mtec with communication
