The absolute worst place to ever go for care!! I had to click 1star so that I could leave a comment. Longleaf doesn’t even deserve a star. Requested a temporary admission for my daughter until I could get her to a long term treatment facility the next day. The next day they refused to discharge her to an accepting accredited long term facility. She has a roommate that snores loudly making sleep impossible. She was told by a nurse to put two chairs together and sleep on that in the common area. The Doctor and Psychiatrist will not be treating her long term but yet they insisted she stay for more treatment. It’s all about money. They are not there to help anyone. Please never admit your loved one to this place.

Co workers are more worried about flirting with each other than helping their patients. They put men & women together so often the staff would have to chase a male out of a females room. I was verbally attacked over the course of 2 days by a psychotic patient until I called my mom. The men who aren't lucid wander into females rooms & wakes them up touching them & stuff. When we stepped out of the shower we never knew if there would be a male patient there just watching us. If you struggle with any kind of trauma please don't go here. It made my trama 10x worse because of the environment & staff. Not to mention the derogatory comments made about my body.

I have had a couple close friends who have gone here and they have all said the same thing: it is a terrible place to be and no one there actually has the patients’ best interest in mind. Would not recommend to anyone who is looking for genuine help.

Great place to work. Great atmosphere. Everyone is really friendly and strive to do their best. Longleaf Hospital cares about each individual patient and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
