Very disorganized medical office. The front desk couldn’t figure out how to take my copay. Spend little time with patients and run out of the room. Portal replies are literally one word. Very eager to push medication over listening to patient needs. I believe it to be a BCH wide policy. Every appointment feels like an exercise in gaslighting. I literally ended up in the ER because they dismissed me in their rushed care.

Was unfortunately redirected to Stephanie Hess after my chosen PCP had to cancel my appointment. Every interaction with this Dr. was traumatic, frustrating and smug. Zero empathy.

Dr Lewis listened to my issues and asked pertinent questions for my visit. She gave me options for my problems.

I call Frontier Internal Medicine but get Boulder Community Health. I wait on hold and listen to 45 minutes of music that repeats every 15 seconds. At this point I decide its probably not worth going to doctors anymore. But then a nice person at Central Scheduling picks up my call. She tells me she cannot schedule my new patient appointment and she is sorry because they have \high volume\ and are \in transition\. She offers to take my information and start a new patient record. Then she transfers me to an answering machine. This happens five times over several months. It seems to make no difference if I start a new patient record or not. The fifth time I begin to weep, and she gives me an option number which bypasses Central Scheduling. I eagerly call and use the option number. This transfers me to an answering machine. Later I get a message from Frontier Internal Medicine telling me to call Central Scheduling. I eventually start calling and using the option number incessantly until I get past the answering machine and talk to a Frontier staff member (who is also sorry about the transition) - and I get my appointment. Excellent if you feel your stress level isn't high enough and you enjoy defeating circuitous corporate mazes. I'm not sure I want to be a patient at a place where obsessively placing phone calls is good thing. I'm hoping that once I'm an existing patient there will be some sort of inside track where I don't have to listen to a musical phrase repeated 300 times and hear about high volume and transitions.

This is the most unprofessional doctors office I have EVER been to in my entire life and I've been to a lot of doctors. I came in back in October for pain in my back and because I had answered yes to a bunch of question about my mental health Kathy and the other lady that works there that deals with mental health told me to follow up with mental health partners. I have a type of ocd called pure o which deals with very unsettling intrusive thoughts. In order to be treated for this illness you MUST see an OCD specialist. I explained to Kathy that mental health partners does not have an ocd specialist and that I have been going there off and on for over 3 years now and I have seen 3 therapists and 2 psychiatrists and no one ever helps me. She told me I still needed to go to get care for my depression and anxiety. First of all, why would I one go to a place that hasn't helped me in 3 years, two when my OCD is a more serious matter that needs to be treated first and besides ocd, depression and anxiety all go hand in hand. Three, why would I go see two separate therapists when 1 can help me with the treatment I need. So because I didn't seek treatment where I know I'm not going to get the help I need I was discharging from the clinic. Seems super discriminatory and maybe I should contact the clinic director. As a Medicaid patient I'm limited on the types of doctors I'm able to see in town. I really can not wait to get out of Longmont! Thanks for nothing!
