Fish Quay The Quay, East Looe
N/A
Been here quite a few times in my 50 odd years. With my Mum and Dad when I was a little boy, and plenty of times with our own three children, and this time this October on our own. Covid can not destroy the life and lives of this wonderful fishing harbour. From the many eateries, shops, beach and fish market. You HAVE to have fish and chips and/or a cream tea when you visit. We’ll be back again.

A beautiful fishing port, with so many interesting buildings to see in the small side streets around the harbour. The lifeboat station and the \banjo\ pier are worth a visit too. Don't miss the statue of the seal, om the rocks opposite the lifeboats. Large car park over the bridge, west of river. Gets very busy in summer but quiet out of season.
Despite the wet weather we had a lovely walk. The west side has great views
Beautiful place. Full of energy. Lovely shops and wonderful houses and hotels perch on the slope. The bridge compliment a kind of Italian feel until ypu find yourself having a bagful of fish and chips or cornish pie. Then you know you realise you are in England. Very picturesque place. Recommended
I really enjoyed the harbour, you can take different types of boat trips as well as enjoy the little shops and restaurants around. Crabbing is highly recommended!
