Poor customer service when I was notified to pickup my glasses. After traveling 30 minutes to arrive at location, I was told they’re not ready. Received Marc’s reply as well as following up with a phone call. All is good! We still find Dr. Teles is excellent not only in his expertise but also with people.

I have been wearing glass for the past 15 years and have brought my business to various optical centers. Looking Glass Optical by far was above and beyond all of them! I received the most thorough experience that I have ever had. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. During my appointment I had quite a few questions regarding the health of my eyes and Dr. Teles didn’t hesitate to provide a clear and thorough response. Once my actual appointment was complete, I was assisted by Marc to pick out my glasses. He helped me pick out a pair of super stylish frames that by far are my favorite lenses ever! Thank you so much for an amazing experience guys! 5 stars across the board!

I have been a patient at Looking Glass Optical for almost 15 years and I have never experienced the level of professionalism and care that Dr. Teles and Marc provide. Dr. Teles goes above and beyond to ensure a complete and thorough eye exam, leaving no stone unturned, while Marc delivers first-class support when selecting and ordering frames. If you value the health of your eyes, this is the place to go.

They charge double what my insurance covers for both the eye exam and prescription. They also told me I MUST take another general health exam. I asked for what, couldn't tell me. This would have been 100% out of pocket. They became very short with me when I said I would like to order online elsewhere. High pressure sales tactics, very uncomfortable.

These folks let me come in for an appointment without telling me they did not take the vision coverage I had. Once there they told me I'd have to pay out of pocket and request reimbursement from my insurance company. No guarantee my insurance would pay me back. When asked why I was not told this ahead of time when making the appt. They tried using the excuse that they thought I still had the same insurance as I did 5 years prior. First off perhaps asking what kind of insurance a client currently has should be protocol. In my case it doesn't matter because the person who made appointment actually looked up my husbands account to verify the insurance I had. That person even verified that the co pays from my husbands recent visits were received. Apparently my husbands were billed under medical and they were covered but mine is a vision check so it is billed under vision. The point is THEY KNEW WHAT INSURANCE WE CURRENTLY HAD. There was no apology for the time they wasted or the fact I left with my vision still impaired. The insinuation was this was my fault. I would not recommend Looking Glass. Find another eye care place where they verify things such as coverage.
