Amazing museum experience, from the companion app to the helpful and friendly tour guides any question you can think of will be answered. Additionally climbing up and down the levels of the ship is a truly unique experience. A great time for any LA natives or tourists who are looking for something new to do. Next time family or friends come to town I will bring them here. As I’m writing during corona times I should also add that it was very safe, it’s an open air tour with plenty of hand sanitizing stations and masks worn all around. Cannot recommend enough.

It's the USS Iowa. It's American history right there in front of you. My five star review is for the many times I've sat on the benches admiring the views of this magnificent ship. I've never been inside yet, so I'll likely give it six stars at that point for its pivotal role in our nation's military history. Can you make this a six star system, Google? I'm just askin'.

I really enjoyed my self guided tour around the battleship. Crew on deck is very passionate about what they do and are very knowledgeable. I would love to see the propellers on the helicopter though. Nice views on the left side of the destroyer, you can see all the madness going on throughout the port.

Incredible piece of floating history. And also a heck of a fun place to walk about!! Kids will be aqes, adults will feel like they are on a playground. BONUS: a safe place to visit during this time of covid

Went there early last year after coming back from a Mexico cruise tour. Just to kill some extra time before going home. It turned out a great place to spend a few hours. Couldn't believe how advance an old battleship could be. And yeah, the history was fascinating. Definitely an eye-opener for me.
