I bought the red oak straight staff and I love it! The price is so cheap. It is really straight and I love the weight. Very kind workers. Their prices for what you get get are so worth it. I also got the foam Nunchucks which are actually pretty good to train with, they have enough weight.
I should have known by the pile of aluminum tube nunchuks right at the doorway, but this is NOT a place to buy martial arts weapons. Unfortunately I bought a toothpick bo staff anyway and, of course, the tip of it snapped off immediately after lightly tapping the ground. I returned to see if they would refund, but of course they claimed that I did something wrong and refused to help. The owner then claimed that he knew nothing about wood and what makes it break and it's not his business to know these things. Here's a tip: YES IT IS!! If you sell something, it IS your business to be knowledgeable about it! Bear in mind that they advertise that this staff is made of ed oak\ on their website. Oak staffs do not break if you hit them on a tree, let alone tapping them on the ground! Once again, I should have known better. I knew it wasn't oak as soon as I picked it up. But I had traveled a long way through rush hour traffic and I needed a staff for a demo--I didn't think it would break IMMEDIATELY!! This place sells junk. Don't make the same mistake I made--stay away!!
