Whenever you buy precious metal do A LOT of research first, ask questions on forums, etc. If a company advertises they tend to at least have high commissions and often mislead and sell scammy products like “numismatic/collector” coins vs bullion coins. You need to be very careful and well researched when spending a lot of your money even if you think it is an investment.

Almost exactly 10 years ago, I purchased 2 American Gold Eagles from Goldline. On the reverse of one of them, a sweeping needle scratch was obvious, where someone had used a needle or straight pin to \test it\ for fakeness (I assume testing for plating). Since the coin has no numismatic value and is just bullion, I didn't seek any form of remedy. But I never bought from them again.

They rig their reviews on TrustPilot. They wouldn't allow a bad review. I wouldn't trust these guys. I purchased from Goldline (it has been a few years) and their fees were exhorbitant and they were completely dishonest.

I bought 5357 worth of gold coins from them in 2013 when gold was 1150 an ounce, gold is now 1950 an ounce and Goldline only offers me 5500 what a scam they told me no one cares about the coins I bought from them 7 years ago anymore. Stay Away from Goldmine

They tried to steal from me too. I fought it and they overcharged me for my gold. I'm trying to switch over to Patriot Gold but they they are making it hard to get my money back.
