I made an apt with Jay after being recommended by my friend. It was my first time ever going to a hair salon in the US, and as the offer in LA is pretty intimidating (as well as the prices), I was pretty anxious about this experience. Nevertheless, Jay totally calmed me down, he was super professional (he actually listened!!) and totally respected my wishes. I am a blonde that has been using highlights for the last 15 years and has been going to the same hairdresser for as long as I can walk, and he was able to nail my exact color tones down with just one try. Spot on coloring, great neat, slick cut and excellent blowout. The price was also really easy to agree on (before the work started which prevents any unpleasant surprises) and honestly, I will remain loyal to Jay until the end. The salon is also very stylish, not pretentious, has a pleasant relaxed vibe. Would absolutely recommend this place!

I've been going to Good Form for a long time. First it was just for a cut and blow dry, but then I realized that Jay is one of THE BEST COLORISTS in the city (maybe the country, but I wouldn't know cause I only see Jay)! Seriously though I had no idea my natural hair colour was not my best colour. The few times I had someone else colour my hair (I was travelling), it was okay but not inspired if that makes sense. I don't know what kind of magic Jay and his assistants do, but when I leave Good Form, my hair looks like it should be in an ad for hair products. Serious.
