I consider myself extremely lucky to live near KG bakery. They have the best Bahn Mi’s in town! Freshly baked crusty bread with all the fixing. accompanied with an amazing Vietnamese coffee, & all for a very reasonable price! I also love the staff & their desert slices. Couldn’t recommended them more.

We've never been disappointed. And they have a parking lot, tiny as it may be. This is not to be dismissed, since there's almost no unused street parking around here.

These guys make great inexpensive cakes to order. We've been getting cakes from them since 2013, and for good reason. We've never been disappointed. And they have a parking lot, tiny as it may be. This is not to be dismissed, since there's almost no unused street parking around here.

A true staple in Echo Park! Their cakes are perfection. My family loves the texture and combination of fruits they offer. Thank you for serving the community for so many years!

One of the best bahn mi sandwiches I've had in a long time. I'm sad to have only discovered them recently, it puts the cold cut bahn mi's in the San Gabriel valley to shame! They make the bread, which has a crusty exterior and pillowy soft interior, the way of a perfect Vietnamese baguette. Cold cuts are cut thick, allowing you to enjoy all the different textures ham, headcheese and Vietnamese ham have to offer. There is so much umami and peppery goodness in the meat. The house pickled vegetables have crunch and pleasant sweetness and acidity, while the jalapeno and fresh cilantro lend balance with a piquant, spicy, herbaceousness. And the mayo and pate! Nothing else could add a more perfect unctuousness that that pairing. This is a cold cut Vietnamese sandwich to end all Vietnamese sandwiches. Did I mention you can make this hefty sandwich a combo for 2 more and you get a drink AND slice of cake? Come on. I'll see you soon, dear KG Bakery, we gave to make up for lost time.
