This place is lovely! I've been taking a year and a half now, and she is wonderful. She is always willing to go the extra mile, and will meet me outside of regular times if I have to miss class. She also went above and beyond and helped me write and practice a speech to surprise.

I went through the MCL15 course before moving to Asia. I absolutely loved this school. I went through private tutors and online classes, but nothing was as effective and engaging as working with Gloria and Near at MCL Academy. They had a great curriculum and their small groups classes were perfect in getting me to grasp the material. Beyond that, they got me enthusiastic about learning Chinese which has inspired and motivated me to continue studying Chinese abroad and on my own.

I have really enjoyed the few small group classes I have taken so far at MCL. The classes are engaging and the teachers are extremely thoughtful in structuring the course and materials to meet my language level and goals. The teachers are very nice and upbeat and demonstrate a deep knowledge of not only the Chinese language and culture, but also how to teach students effectively and proactively. Wonderful Chinese class!
