Scam artists. FTB is trying to charge me 14,000 I don't owe. They can't prove that I owe them, and we're in the middle of the dispute whilst they're garnishing my wages and because of them I can't work and at risk of becoming homeless... This building needs to be raided. They're bullies with authorities with leaders closing their eyes on how they operate.

I just recently became more acquainted with the FTB. I'll keep this short. We owed over 23,000 in back taxes. We sent a cashier's check and thought it was complete...until we received a call saying they never got the check. What?! So we had to cancel the check (which costs us 25 non-refundable from FTB) SMH. Finally we refused to send via mail and asked if there was another way? Sure! there's an office DTLA. Went DTLA paid for parking, went through security, made my way upstairs and they wouldn't take the check! What?! Left and went back another day....finally got it done. This is ridiculous. Working THIS hard to pay FTB? Sad.
