I had the blackened salmon, braised collard greens and a delicious corn bread muffin... that I dipped in the greens because...YUM!!! Service was fast and friendly! My order was ready in about 8 minutes. GREAT experience!

Outstanding location for tasty Cajun food. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. The bill was reasonable I would say. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.

Sad fricken poboy. Honestly can't believe they have the nerve to call this \authentic new orleans food.\ Let me be \authentic\ I won't be back. A true shrimp poboy from Louisiana will be stuffed, with softly fried shrimp. On this sandwich, the breading is all over the sandwich as it easily comes off the shrimp and it taste like old hushpuppies. Old breading, just slim picking and nasty. If you're from Louisiana, have ever been, or just want a good poboy go elsewhere.

If you are craving cajun food, this is the place in Beverly Grove/3rd Street Farmers Market at the Grove. Have been coming to The Gumbo Pot for years. Especially crazy about the gumbo - comes with sides (sweet potato salad is a fav) and excellent cornbread. There is a full menu - jambalaya, po-boys and even beignets. Also awesome that it borders on the far west side of the patio, where bands play in normal times, there would be happy hours and holiday and Mardi Gras celebrations. You can grab a beer nearby and enjoy a friendly New Orleans experience.

Cajun food and the setting at this place is super good. Visited on Sat I believe. The staff was very welcoming and observant. The bill was average for the menu.
