Not my cup of tea, too much batter, tastes like frozen food just fried. I got the mixed seafood platter and the crawfish macaroni cheese deluxe. Macaroni Tasted bland with delicious sausages.

The food was ok. The tables outside were dirty and unkempt. The people working there were polite and helpful though. I’d bring something to clean the table with and some sanitizer next time.

Take out only during the pandemic, but still very good Cajun food. The po boy sandwiches are delicious.

Best po boys in the state!! Ever since I came back from my visit to New Orleans, I’ve been in search of some of the flavors of the town I grew to love. Fried chicken and po boy sandwiches were on top of the list. It’s hard to explain why some would call “just a sandwich” is hard to replicate, but it is. Many po boys I’ve tried in California from San Diego to San Francisco is just a sandwich with fried shrimp or oysters inside, which is the problem. Many tasted good, but most did not have the right chewy bread and breading for the shrimp or oster wasn’t just right. Little Jewel nails both. Going to have a try a few more dishes next time, but for this trip I focused on the po boy. Tried the shrimp and also ordered the 1/2 oyster po boy combo. The whole sandwich is huge. I barely was able to finish the 1/2 oyster and about a 1/4 of the shrimp po boy to start and looking forward to the left overs. Due to Covid, the combos are not on the outside menu posted, but just ask and they will hook you up. The wait is about 15 mins, but worth the wait for prepared to order freshness. Try calling ahead or take a walk while you wait. Service was fast and friendly and they did let me know about the wait before I ordered, which is pretty cool.
