Very bad experience. I purchased an all leather reclining 3 seater sofa...online. The ad clearly shows a centre drop down console...that is...the centre inback drops down to sit on middle seat providing you with a centre armrest...cupholders...and USB charging station. The sofa was 999 pounds...so I had a reasonable expectation from the picture and price that this was of course included. Well it is not. Grampian uses the stock photo from the manufacturer. This is a standard practice...but if something in the picture is NOT included in the advertised price...Grampian must publish the exclusion in their advertising. They did not....they do now though. But...I kept the original ad. When Grampian made their mistake...they should also print a retraction.... They did not. Well I contacted the ONLINE MANAGER at Grampian as soon as I noticed their mistake. In fact their delivery man told me that this is not the first time this has happened... The Online Manager promised to see what he could do to rectify. I go away for a month...and follow up when I got back...contacted Online Manager....had to freshen his memory...he had done nothing...then said he would contact Manufacturer to see what they would do. Manufacturer said it was Grampian's mistake and they would do nothing. I should note that this centre in back is manufactured as a separate unit and can be shipped on its own. The ONLINE MANAGER promised to contact his Manager who was in Asia on a business trip. As I had to go away a few days later...Online Manager promised to email me with his managers answer. I gave him my email address. Nothing. I think he is waiting for me to go away...well that is not happening. I want to exchange the stationary centre back for the one Grampian advertised. I don't seem to be getting their attention.......
