I called to inquire about a loan product the person who answered the phone was not knowledgeable of the product. I was put on hold, for a while and the representative did not come back to the phone with any courtesy customer service acknowledgements.

I've been a long time member of this credit union and it has served me quite well. Their rates are very competitive and the atmosphere is professional yet friendly. If you meet the requirements, there is no doubt about it, this is the place for you.

Opened my account when I worked for lcps. ( back then I'd have given them at least 4 stars) The bank went from okay to bad. Their website is always down. Or it locks me out of my account. Nothing but problems, even when I call to get problems fixed. I will be closing on my account when I can log in or finally get someone competent to talk to.

The Credit Union used to be 5 stars when I started in 2001. That was true up until about a year or so ago. They have since become as non pro-active as you would fear in any banking institute. I was able to do my banking as an employee of Loudoun County and stayed with them when I moved over to work for VDOT. I never got denied a loan in all my time with them. Even when I left the Department in Leesburg and was assigned to Fredericksburg, I saw no change in their level of excellent customer service.... That was until a year ago. Since the departure of Carol Caron and Darrin Meyers, it is my opinion that the credit union has degraded itself to a very generous 2 stars. Because of the lack of quality customer service I enjoyed for over 16 years, I decided to join my wife's bank where customer service still remains priority one. I have left the credit union numerous emails which, if answered at all, doesn't get responded to for days or weeks. I had 3 requests in for a credit card increase with the credit union and with eZ-Card since January of this year and neither have responded to date. I would probably still be a LCCU member if Darrin and Carol were still there. What a shame.
