We can't thank Craig and Mark enough, they have stripped 12 cottage style (Latch) doors for our home in Queniborough and Craig has always answered my calls and left me voicemails promptly in an attempt to arrange collection/delivery of the doors. The doors did not come back completetly paint free and Craig explained this honestly due to the paint used being oil based. We are still very pleased with the look of the doors and we think of them as rustic, which is perfect for our 200 year old cottage. The cost was reasonable too! I would have no hesitation in reccommending A1 Door stripping. Many Thanks
Really disappointed - DO NOT USE! Had a quote for dipping a banister for 40 as it would apparently need to be done by hand because of the size. We got there, and it was fine to go in the tub and the gentleman there said he thought it would only be 30 as didn't need to stripped by hand. Before leaving it, I checked to make sure the wood would end up lighter after dipping which I was told it would. On collection, I was shocked to see the wood looked EXACTLY THE SAME as when I left it!!! Then to top it off...they said it would still be 40!!! What a joke! Will definitely NOT be using these again!! They should have told me it wouldn't work before I left it and not just taken my money!!!!! What a con!!!
