Turned up 30 minutes before closing, was only looking to buy a small off cut. The guy in the shop had already packed everything up, so the first thing he did was say he couldn't serve me and I would have to come back tomorrow. Not great when you have driven a 45min round trip to buy something. I assume he had just packed up early to go home quicker. Not great customer service. As it happens the offcuts were pretty pricey, so left anyway. Wont bother coming back.

Plenty to say here. Staff in store are very helpful, know what they are talking about and are willing to explain the differences in carpets and the pros and cons. Really pleased with this - and bonus points for not trying to shift the most expensive carpets. Very pleased with this aspect of customer service. Also helpful when I needed to change an order. My 'but' is to do with the fact that I didn't get enough information pre-fitting about the requirements to remove old carpet etc. I phoned up about this to check - I'd prefer to be told when I actually order the carpets. That was a minor point to me, but worth noting. The carpet fitter arrived at the time promised. He was quick, but I am not 100% impressed with the quality of his work and may ask carpetright to come back and check this. Overall, I would use this company again and would like to thank the sales team for their professionalism.

Literally the worst customer service experience I have ever had! Extremely rude and patronising staff in this store. We were also repeatedly told incorrect information. Which resulted in us struggling to get a date for fitting and having to take unnecessary holidays due to their incompetence and total lack of product and fitting procedure knowledge. When you go in or phone to sort things out we where told ‘they are too busy to talk to us’ and complaints were dismissed incredibly rudely.
