I first visited EMPC Loughborough in 2019 and was treated by Ben Harris. I found the whole experience to be very professional and Ben really took the time to understand my heavy training load and how the injury would effect me. He helped to get me back running again without to long a lay off. The strength exercises he gave me have become a regular part of my training program. I have since returned on two separate occasions and each time I am met with the same level of friendly professionalism. Ben has now become my go to physio. I highly recommend him.

Recently my employer organized some physio for me to help with my pain in my leg. After some sessions by Ben , it has made a great improvement. The pain has gone with regular physio and advice on on-going exercise to prevent further occurrence. Thanks Ben

I had only three sessions with Ben, regarding long term torticollis. As I was away from home and my usual treatment, this was the best I could find nearby. Ben was very helpful, considerate, and extremely well-practiced in his work. In fact, I only took around 3 treatments maximum and stopped after that because my neck problem disappeared! Highly recommend this clinic. Little pricey, but they do offer student rates, but I still think those three sessions were worth their money.

I had been experiencing some pain in my knee for some time and knew that I required Physio, as we went into lockdown, I decided to up my exercise routine and this resulted in further uncomfortable pain. I felt that I was in crisis unable to sit down or walk up the stairs without pain in my knee. I used East Midlands Physiotherapy Clinic 7 years ago for a different injury so I knew that I would get a good service. I went to the website in hope that there maybe some help with my injury. I discovered that they were offering online assessments, I felt quite comfortable with this and decided to book an appointment. My first assessment with Ben was great we talked through my injury, describing the pain and Ben asked me what it was stopping me enjoying. Using the camera Ben was able to ask me to do certain positions so he could see how my knee bends and reacts under certain situations eg squats. By the end of my assessment Ben was clear why I was getting the pain. He created me an exercise plan and provided me with an online portal to log into, to see the exercise in action which really helped. Ben also advised me to use resistance bands and recommended the best affordable ones for me. I had weekly appointments with Ben where he would demonstrate the exercise for my injury, and I would then demonstrate them to Ben via the camera. Ben had given me guidance and advice with my technique with all my exercise to ensure I do not create further injury. My sessions have been enjoyable as Ben has focused on my wants to be able to complete exercise pain free and over 12 weeks on I am now pain free and my foot, knee and hips are stronger. I am now working on maintenance exercise and feel in a great place. I would say having my virtual physio was a welcomed and beneficial experience for me to be now pain free. Thank you, Ben!
